The Orchid plant is shaped out of laser-thin freehand strokes, a technique attributed to threads made by silk worms during spring times. Thread-thin, yet each ink line manifests various techniques: change of pressures, contrast of dark and light with vary in thickness and blends of the inks… And where dryness and jitters or breaks set in during the process of executing the brush stroke, contours of the subject continue in abstract.

线条如春蚕吐丝，每条线都有“ 导送提按，浓淡焦湿，阴阳向背，笔断意贯” 之特点。石头温厚，神韵十足，格调秀劲淡雅，有君子之风范。

瑞鸭蓝蝶

Physical and spiritual attributes of the ducks made lively and realistic, with use of generous yet controlled wash of inks and blends. These ducks in chromatics of blacks and grays are set against the grass and stalks of warm colours, coupled with cool hue of blues from the butterflies… The entire composition is a bustle!
