Sin Hua Gallery, established in 1980, deals mainly with quality fine Chinese brush paintings. For the past 23 years, Sin Hua has organized a total of 65 art exhibitions in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Rong Bao Zhai, one of the oldest Gallery in Beijing (founded end of 17th Century), is well known for their exclusive collection of Qi Baishi’s paintings. In 1988, Rong Bao Zhai and Sin Hua jointly showcased “Collection of Qi Baishi’s (1864-1957) works” in Singapore, which made this exquisite exhibition talk-of-the-town during that time.

In 1990, to mark Sin Hua’s 10th Anniversary, the Gallery specially invited world famous artist who graduated in France, Wu Guanzhong (born 1919) to Singapore to attend his one-man show. This solo exhibition of Wu Guanzhong, crossing between the east and west, showcased 70 pieces of rare finds of Wu’s watercolour, gouache, oil and Chinese paintings, made this event a real crowd drawing exhibition.

新华美术中心成立于1980年,是一间经营高档次中国画作的画廊。过去23年，新华在新加坡、马来西亚、香港和台湾，前后共主办了65个展览。

新华早在80年代初，就与北京荣宝斋挂勾并主办了多次联合画展，如1983年的《中国当代名家画展》、85年《荣宝斋名家原作展》和87年《荣宝斋中国人物画展》。

1988年以珍藏齐白石作品盛名的荣宝斋 (创建于十七世纪末)，还特地安排把斋藏的一批齐白石(1864-1957)精品运到新加坡展览，一时引起轰动。

1990年，新华为庆祝成立十周年，特邀请留法中国著名画家吴冠中(1919年生)到新加坡主办另一次盛大展览。以中西画结合而备受中外注意的吴冠中，在新加坡展出70件中国画、油画、水彩和粉彩著作，在当地引起了一股对现代中国画的热潮。
